    Variable ADDITION_FERMENTED_DAYSConst

    ADDITION_FERMENTED_DAYS: 21

Days an addition's sugar has to have been in the blend before we count it as fermented out. Until then it counts as priming sugar.

Fruit added to a mixed-fermentation blend a month before packaging has been eaten. Fruit added the week before bottling is still sugar, and it will carbonate in the bottle on top of whatever priming dose the blender adds, which can over-carbonate the bottles dangerously. That's the only reason this module looks at dates.

Three weeks is a judgement call, not a measurement, and it's on the conservative side. A Brettanomyces culture working through cherry sugar at cellar temperature can take longer, so a blender who knows their culture is slow should date the row and pay attention to the warning. The value is exported so callers can show the threshold next to the number it affects.
