    Alpha acid concentration the addition put into the wort, mg/L.

    effectiveBoilMinutes: number

    Minutes at boiling temperature this addition is equivalent to. For boil additions it's the stated time. For whirlpool additions it's much less than the stand time.

    formMultiplier: number

    The form multiplier that was applied.

    formula: IbuFormula

    Bitterness model that produced the number.

    ibu: number

    This addition's bitterness, IBU.

    id?: string

    The addition's HopAddition.id, when it has one.

    index: number

    Index into the recipe's hop array.

    name: string

    The addition's display name.

    notes: readonly string[]

    Why this addition got the treatment it did.

    standDescription: string | null

    A one-sentence description of this addition's stand, or null if it isn't a whirlpool addition or the whirlpool model is none.

    It's a separate field, and also a line in notes, so the recipe explanation can show the working per addition without parsing prose.

    utilizationFraction: number

    Utilisation achieved, as a fraction.
